These models will be built to the highest standards possible in two different versions. Some of the Big Boy and Challenger
engines will be built in exact 1/48 scale and will operated on scale 4'81/2" track. The second version will be built
to operated on Standard 'O' Scale 5' track. These engines will exceed any previous 'O' Scale Big Boy's or Challenger's.
Every part of the running gear on the 1/48 Version will be built to exact size. This Engine will be the most accurate 'O'
Scale Big Boy ever.

Southern Pacific Sunset Limited
The Southern Pacific placed beautiful Budd-built train sets in service between New Orleans and Los Angeles on August 20,
1950. The Sunset Limited operated daily in each direction on a 42 hour schedule as a 15 car train consisting of the following
cars:
Bagggage Mail - Baggage Dorm - 48 Seat Coach- (3) 44 Seat Coach - Coffee Shop Lounge - Dining car - Club Lounge - (5)
10-6 Pullman - 10-6 Pullman Blunt End Car
By the mid 1950's the train was down to 11 cars between New Orleans and Los Angeles including one smooth-sided pullman
built 4 double bedroom, 4 compartment, 2 drawing room sleeper. Additional sleepers and Chair Cars were added enroute as needed
from the original train sets.
